Tata Steel Foundation completes two community projects, benefiting locals in Kalinganagar

Tata Steel Foundation (TSF) has recently completed two projects that aim to benefit the local community in Kalinganagar, Jajpur district. The first project involved the renovation of a community pond in Baragadia Gram Panchayat, which has increased the water storage capacity to 0.41mcft. The renovated pond will improve the water resources and benefit the community members in the area.


The second project involved the construction of five fully furnished classrooms at Hingula High School, Baragadia. The new classrooms aim to improve the learning levels of over 200 students from nearby areas within the Kalinganagar region. The classrooms have been handed over to the school administration for immediate use.
The facilities were inaugurated by Pritiranjan Gharai, Minister of Rural Development, Skill Development & Technical Education on Saturday. Speaking at the event, Gharai commended TSF for its commitment to improving the lives of the local community through such initiatives.
TSF has a long-standing commitment to social responsibility, and these projects are a testament to its efforts to promote sustainable development in the region. The foundation is working towards creating a positive impact on the lives of people in the communities where it operates.
