MCAPS and TCIT Partnership Paves the Way for E-Learning in Odisha

A new memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between ‘Mo College Abhijan Parichalana Sangathan’ (MCAPS) and ‘Tata Community Initiatives Trust’ (TCIT), which is set to create new opportunities for e-learning in Odisha, India. The program will focus on skilling the state’s youth for employment, entrepreneurship, and community enterprise, with a particular emphasis on those from economically weaker and socially disadvantaged backgrounds.

The MoU aims to provide access to the best digital courses for engineering and science graduates from various colleges across the state. Tata STRIVE, which has been providing courses to learners across India for several years, will offer courses to Odisha’s students, enabling them to learn new skills and enhance their career prospects in the IT/digital space.

The program will be particularly beneficial for those from economically weaker and socially disadvantaged backgrounds, with near about 5000 students expected to benefit from the courses. Additionally, students who complete the courses within the designated time frame will receive 100% placement guidance.

Moreover, the program will also offer Tata STRIVE’s signature youth development program of up to 20 hours, which will help students develop essential life skills. The program aims to enhance the knowledge enrichment of the students without any financial implications on educational institutions or the students.

The chairman of ‘Mo College’ Abhijan Parichalana Sangathan’, Shri Akash Dasnayak, believes that providing digital education from the grassroots level is essential in today’s fast-paced world. This new partnership will enable students to gain access to the latest courses, which will enhance their digital skills, making them more employable and able to take advantage of opportunities in the digital space.

In conclusion, the MoU between MCAPS and TCIT is a welcome development for the students of Odisha. This partnership will provide access to the best digital courses, enabling students to learn new skills and enhance their career prospects in the IT/digital space. The focus on economically weaker and socially disadvantaged students makes this partnership particularly beneficial for those who may not have had access to such opportunities previously. The youth development program, offered by Tata STRIVE, will also help students develop essential life skills, making them more well-rounded individuals. Overall, this new partnership between MCAPS and TCIT is an exciting development for e-learning in Odisha.
